Job summary
Revvity is seeking a Production Planner in Hopkinton, MA to develop and manage the manufacturing schedule for research reagents and consumables in a fast-paced environment.
You will coordinate with SAP/SAP APO to forecast performance, maintain stock levels across global sites, and align build schedules with product introductions while supporting sales and customer service teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of production planning experience using an ERP system.
- Associate degree and 4+ years of production planning experience using an ERP system.
- High school diploma or GED and 6+ years of production planning experience using an ERP system.
Responsibilities
- Develop near-term and long-term production plans using SAP and SAP/APO.
- Maintain forecast performance with SAP/APO.
- Maintain stock levels across local and international sites.
- Coordinate with manufacturing to align costing with BOM/Routing changes.
- Develop initiatives to improve inventory, scrap and margin performance.
- Align build schedule with forecast and New Product Introductions.
- Collaborate with sales to expedite fast-moving opportunities.
- Coordinate with domestic and international Customer Service for stocking updates.
- Resolve order-specific issues with service teams.

To develop and manage the production schedule for manufacturing of research reagents, chemicals, and research consumables in a fast paced environment in a way that utilizes available forecast information to balance inventory, scrap and customer service level needs, while effectively utilizing lab resources.
- Utilize ERP system, (SAP and SAP/APO) to develop near term and long term production plans
- Utilize SAP/APO to maintain forecast performance
- Utilize SAP and SAP/APO to maintain proper stock levels in both local and international distribution sites
- Work with manufacturing to maintain parity between costing and BOM/Routing changes
- To develop initiatives to improve inventory, scrap and margin performance
- Must work with Product Management to align build schedule with Forecast
- Must work with Product Management to align build schedule with New Product Introductions and margin commitments
- Must work closely with the sales team to expedite and capitalize on fast moving opportunities
- Must work with both domestic and international Customer Service groups to provide timely stocking updates
- Must work with both domestic and international Customer Service groups to resolve order specific issues
- May be cross training into other areas of planning/procurement
- May require travel to other sites
- Bachelor’s degree 2+ years of experience of production planning experience using an ERP system
- Associate degree 4+ years of experience of production planning experience using an ERP system
- High school diploma or GED 6+ years of experience of production planning experience using an ERP system
- SAP experience
- High level of skill using Excel and its related data tools.
- Proficient in PowerPoint & Word
- MS Access experience
- APICS or similar certification strongly preferred
- Prior Green Belt certification a plus.
The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $62,500 - $83,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered. #LI-CH1
