Job summary

Element Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner in Altoona, PA to manage production schedules, inventory, and customer requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to optimize schedules, maintain inventory accuracy, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The role offers a competitive base salary and benefits as part of MAES.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years of production planning, scheduling, inventory management, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; JD Edwards (JDE) experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process production work orders in the ERP system (JD Edwards).
• Run MRP reports and analyze material and production requirements.
• Prioritize, release, and communicate production schedules to manufacturing teams.
• Plan and order intermediate feed items to support production.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to meet delivery expectations.
• Process work order issues and completions within the ERP.
