Job summary

Essity is seeking a Production Planner for North America with a focus on detailed production sequencing and short-term planning. The role involves daily planning revisions, scenario creation with manufacturing teams, and managing plan changes under tight deadlines.

Candidates should have a supply-chain-related degree or equivalent planning experience, plus Excel and SAP familiarity. Preferred location is Appleton, WI area or another Essity facility in North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related discipline is required or equivalent planning experience.
• Basic Excel proficiency is required; SAP experience is helpful.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and collaboration skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed planning of production sequence at article level for day/shift.
• Daily revision of short-term planning and system adjustments (0–3 weeks).
• Propose and create supply scenarios with local Manufacturing and market counterparts.
• Manage changes in the plan under time constraints and with limited information.
• Report efficiency and adherence to the plan to improve planning effectiveness.
