Job summary

BD in USA CT - Canaan seeks a Production Planner to partner with Sr Manufacturing Manager, Operations Leads and Engineering to set monthly production schedules and manage material flow.

You will review demand with Supply Chain, adjust plans when raw materials are delayed, and ensure schedules align with budget, delivery goals and capacity. Strong cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision making are essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS preferred in a relevant field.
• 3-5 years of experience required, 7-10 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set monthly production schedules with Sr Manufacturing Manager and Engineering.
• Review demand with Supply Chain Management and adjust schedules due to delays.
• Understand the financial impact of schedule changes.
• Review month-to-date schedule performance against Make and Ship plans.
• Participate in weekly schedule compliance meetings.
• Collaborate with Project Leads and Engineers to buy materials and adjust schedules to provide machine time.
• Provide project support (BOM updates, material changes).
• Align budget plans with production volumes based on demand and capacity.
