Job summary

Moxtek in Orem, UT is seeking a Production Planner to oversee the end-to-end value stream from raw materials to shipment. You will develop and drive the production schedule to meet customer needs, manage BOMs, and coordinate with Engineering, Shipping and Purchasing to optimize the flow of materials.

Responsibilities include maintaining ERP inventory accuracy, supporting demand planning with Sales, and leading continuous improvement projects to reduce lead times and waste.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in production planning or related field.
• Hands-on experience developing master production schedules and MRP.
• Experience supporting high customer service levels in complex supply chains.
• Experience transitioning new products into production.
• Experience driving improvement projects.
• APICS CPIM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and drive the schedule for providing product to meet customer needs.
• Oversee Part Number and Bill of Materials management for existing and new products.
• Identify and drive process improvements to reduce scrap, overproduction, and inventory, and to shorten lead times.
• Coordinate with Sales, Production, and Purchasing to manage the production schedule.
• Manage inventory levels and ERP accuracy, including work orders and discrepancies.
• Co-own department metrics and action plans to improve key performance indicators.
