Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in production planning; aerospace experience is a plus.
• Strong communication (oral & written), negotiation skills, attention to detail; excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to handle high-volume workload and changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Plan the master production schedule to meet established delivery dates using a manufacturing information system.
• Schedule parts and units to meet delivery dates for designated product lines or orders.
• Coordinate requirements with Purchasing for purchased parts and release of raw materials from outside suppliers.
• Follow up to ensure requirements are met.
• Review sales forecasts for reasonableness and work with Management to resolve questions.
• Evaluate production impacts when introducing new techniques or rush sales orders.
• Carry out special projects related to production control as assigned.
