Summary:

The Red Lion Team is seeking a Production Planner II on first (1st) shift.

Plans and prepares manufacturing production schedules and departmental workflows to establish sequence and lead time of each production operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders. Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions; includes estimating. Analyzes plant capacity and production requisition data to determine manufacturing processes and required resources; prepares production reports.

Major Position Responsibilities

• Performs tasks and duties associated with product manufacture planning, including producing schedules, materials lists, and production plans.
• Helps analyze production specifications to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and personnel requirements.
• Ensures material flow and production activity are aligned.
• Prepares work orders.
• Recommends schedule changes resulting from material or labor shortages, design changes, or backlogs when necessary.

Basic Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Business Administration/Supply Chain Management.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Supply Chain Management.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods.

• Work may require working inside and outside with exposure to changing climates and/or operating machinery.

Travel Requirements
