Johnson Matthey in West Whiteland, PA seeks a Production Planner I to manage product lines, coordinate schedules, and ensure on-time customer deliveries. You will process orders, plan starting stock, and collaborate with Sales, Production and Customer Service to set daily priorities.

The role emphasizes accuracy in data, strong planning, and proficiency with Excel and ERP systems to support efficient operations. Hybrid-friendly environment offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years manufacturing or production planning experience.
• Experience with inventory control, MRP or ERP systems.
• Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail when managing transactions and data.
• Effective communication across multiple teams.
• Good PC skills including Microsoft Excel; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Managing assigned product lines and coordinating production schedules to support customer demand.
• Processing customer sales orders through to completion, including precious metal starting stock planning.
• Monitoring on-time-in-full delivery performance and inventory targets for assigned areas.
• Working with Sales, Production and Customer Service teams to set daily manufacturing priorities.
• Maintaining accurate planning, inventory and work order data within business systems.
• Analysing production and inventory performance data to support operational decision-making.
