Job Description

1. Optimize resource utilization related to: Kop-Coat, Blends, and RX Products.
2. Keep data visible in MFG tool updated daily and review the 3-month build plan. The Logistics Manager will ensure a 1-year forecast is maintained.
3. Create the build plan over the near-term horizon (0 to 4 weeks) for all product lines.
4. Align with Engineering, Maintenance, QC, and Operations to understand constraints and incorporate those into the production build plan (weekly calls).
5. Coordinate with Supply Chain Planning to understand supply constraints (CSR, scheduling, procurement, logistics, and finance issues) and incorporate those into the production build plan.
6. Lead the cross-departmental change management process when issues occur within the frozen window (0-48 hours).
7. Attend new product launch meetings to understand impacts of new variants on production schedules and work with the production scheduler to adjust accordingly.
8. Participate in the thrice-weekly production and planning reviews to monitor and maintain the health of production and material flow through the plant.
9. Demonstrate strong communication skills.
10. Manage railcar switches.
11. Manage customer weekly calls.
12. Utilize data visualization tools such as Power BI to generate status reports.
13. Possess knowledge of chemical production processes and quality control; understanding of Corsicana plant operations is preferred.
14. Previous production planning experience is preferred.
15. Proficiency in SAP and Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, business, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in chemical manufacturing.

Compensation & Benefits

Wages: From $60K to $80K, depending on experience and education.

This position is 12.5% bonus eligible.
