Job summary

EmployBridge is seeking a Production Planner I in Nashua, NH to help keep manufacturing moving. You will translate orders and forecasts into actionable schedules and coordinate production across teams.

No heavy experience required beyond 1-3 years in manufacturing; training on ERP systems is provided, and strong problem-solving and communication are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Understanding of a manufacturing environment and ability to stay organized in a fast-moving setting.
• Strong communication when priorities shift and across multiple departments.
• Experience with scheduling in manufacturing, with exposure to MRP/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production scheduling for assigned manufacturing areas.
• Use MRP, ERP, and shop-floor systems to support production schedules.
• Translate sales orders and forecasts into production/build schedules.
• Prepare and distribute weekly production schedules.
• Communicate schedules and priorities to production supervisors.
• Participate in daily production meetings.
• Monitor materials and adjust schedules based on production needs and customer demand.
• Help resolve material shortages, late shipments, schedule changes, and order cancellations.
• Prepare daily machine-efficiency evaluations.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Customer Service, and Management.
• Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, tools, and reporting.

We’re looking for a Production Planner I to join a collaborative manufacturing team in Nashua, NH. This is a great opportunity for someone with a manufacturing background who is organized, communicates well, and enjoys keeping production moving when priorities change.

You don’t need to know every system on day one. If you understand a manufacturing environment, have strong problem-solving skills, and are comfortable working across multiple departments, the team is willing to train you on its specific ERP system.

What We’re Looking For

You don’t necessarily need years of formal planning experience. We’re looking for someone who understands manufacturing, stays organized in a fast-moving environment, and communicates clearly when priorities change.

• 1-3 years of related manufacturing, production, planning, scheduling, or similar experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong understanding of a manufacturing environment
• Exposure to MRP/ERP systems or production scheduling tools preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Clear and direct communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and problem-solve when production priorities unexpectedly change
• Ability to work effectively across multiple departments
