Job summary

Emerson’s Mansfield, MA site seeks a detail-oriented planning professional to support valve production for nuclear, aircraft carrier, and submarine applications. You will oversee scheduling, material plans, and shop floor movement to meet customer delivery goals.

As a planner, you’ll drive monthly targets, optimize inventory, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and on-time shipments, while contributing to continuous improvement and career growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP or MRP Systems.
• Strong analytical thinker with problem-solving skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for all planning functions and activities to support the product line from scheduling sales orders to shipment of product including shop floor movement.
• Evaluate and execute all material requirement plans by using the ERP system to meet customer requirements.
• Provide, coordinate, and execute monthly shipment targets while ensuring customer on-time delivery and quality.
• Develop and improve planning techniques and processes to minimize inventory levels, improve cash flow and maximize efficiencies.
• Work with the Value Stream to provide order status, order details, and any recovery plans required to support customer needs.
