Job summary

RBC Bearings Torrington, CT is seeking a Production Control/Inventory Coordinator to plan and schedule production to meet forecasts and manage in-process goods from start to finish.

You will coordinate with product management on customer needs, develop timelines, and execute recovery plans. Responsibilities include providing delivery dates, signaling releases to manufacturing, maintaining WIP accuracy, and reconciling planned work orders in the MRP system.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in purchasing and/or inventory control in a manufacturing environment or any combination of experience, education and training which would provide the level of knowledge, skill and ability required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper production control planning and scheduling to meet forecasts and production schedule.
• Oversee product in process, ensuring an accurate priority through the factory from start to finished goods and/or shipping.
• Maintain accurate WIP value through our processes by identifying, resolving, and preventing inaccuracies.
• Communicate with product management on important customer needs, develop timelines and recovery plans, react quickly to critical needs.
• Support customer service by providing delivery dates and expected recovery dates on customer orders.
• Signal the release of product to manufacturing.
• Communicate to management regarding work centers and areas of concern both internally and externally.
• Ensure the latest drawing revisions are used in the manufacturing process.
• Reconcile planned work orders in MRP system.
• Perform system transactions as needed.

Wage Range: $40,000.00 - $64,000.00
