Energy Recruiters has partnered with is a leading manufacturer that specializes in producing high-quality lubricants, greases and automotive chemicals to support their search for a Production Planner. This role is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule.

Responsibilities

• Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules; conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates; and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.
• Schedule production lines.
• Maximize production capacity.
• Maintain ideal inventory levels.
• Forecast for demand spikes.
• Ability to prioritize in a high demand environment.
• Maintain clean data.
• Explore opportunities for improvement.
• Interact with purchasing to maintain sufficient raw materials and inform if there will be a sudden shift in demand.
• Create work orders.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in operations management, supply chain management, or similar discipline.
• 5 years’ experience schedule lubricant (or similar product) manufacturing lines.
• Understanding the complexity of blending a high number of SKUs.
• Willingness to travel to multiple manufacturing sites located within the East Coast, Midwest, and Gulf region to work with department leadership.
