SDI International is seeking a Production Planner to develop and manage production schedules, ensuring on-time delivery and efficient resource use. You will coordinate across Master Scheduling, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics to align priorities and drive actions.
Responsibilities include monitoring processes, proposing improvements for throughput, and reporting on key metrics. A relevant Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of experience are preferred.

Develop, implement, and maintain production schedules to ensure efficient utilization of resources and on-time delivery of customer orders.
Adjust and optimize schedules in response to demand changes, supply disruptions, or capacity constraints.
Collaborate with Master Scheduling, Operation Execution, Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
Communicate schedule updates, priorities, and potential risks to stakeholders.
Assign cross-functional actions and drive to completion
Monitor production processes to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
Analyze production workflows and recommend improvements to increase throughput, reduce downtime, and enhance resource utilization.
Ensure products are delivered on schedule while maintaining cost efficiency.
Optimize labor, equipment, and material usage to meet production goals.
Track, analyze, and report on key Planning metrics (e.g., On-Time Build (OTB), Available to Build (ATB) to ship, and capacity utilization).
Use data-driven insights to recommend and implement process improvements.
2-5 years’ experience in Production Planning, Scheduling, or Supply Chain required
Strong knowledge of production control principles, capacity planning, and inventory management.
Proficiency with ERP / MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics).
Ability to analyze production data and identify trends to improve performance.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or other related field preferred.
Experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
Familiarity with advanced planning and scheduling tools.
