Job summary

Mubea is seeking a Production Scheduler to plan and prepare production schedules for automotive parts across multiple departments. You will draw up schedules, sequence operations, track daily status and prepare reports to meet forecasted demand.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree or equivalent experience, strong SAP skills, and knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices. Experience with MMOG and cross-border, international operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or strong mathematical background; or 2–3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Manufacturing.
• Must be proficient using SAP.
• Must have good communication skills.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge, Internet software and Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word Processing software.
• Must have a basic knowledge or training of 5's, Lean Manufacturing, Lockout & Tagout procedures, and manufacturing plant safety, environmental, and quality training. Knowledge of MMOG and other customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
• Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers.
• Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.
• Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
• Track the daily production status.
• Prepares production reports.
• Prepares lists of required materials, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare weekly production, work-in-process, and stock on-hand.
• Understands the basic operating functions, to include the limitations of all the machinery being scheduled.

Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of automotive parts and products by performing the following duties.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in related field
• APICS experience
• Experience in automotive manufacturing and /or engineering and sales driven businesses
• Experience working in a Germany based (international) organization
