Job summary

AGC Heat Transfer, Inc. in Fairview, Oregon, is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate production schedules and material planning in a fast-paced, on-site setting.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of production planning, scheduling, inventory management, or related manufacturing experience.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret demand forecasts, lead times, inventory levels, and production capacity data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on customer demand, capacity constraints, and material availability.
  • Utilize Macola ERP software to generate, manage, and track work orders while maintaining accurate planning and inventory data.
  • Identify material shortages and coordinate work orders to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
  • Monitor work order progress and proactively address scheduling conflicts, delays, and bottlenecks.
  • Partner with Procurement, Logistics, and Manufacturing teams to align production schedules with supplier lead times and inventory availability.
  • Participate in daily production meetings and provide updates on priorities, shortages, and schedule performance.
  • Analyze MRP data to identify production requirements and opportunities for improved efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Sales on delivery commitments, lead times, and customer order status.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve technical and production challenges.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, waste reduction, and productivity enhancements.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and material shortages.

This position is based full-time, on-site at our Fairview, OR facility.

What You'll Do

As a Production Planner, you will coordinate production schedules and material planning activities to ensure efficient manufacturing operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on customer demand, capacity constraints, and material availability.
  • Utilize Macola ERP software to generate, manage, and track work orders while maintaining accurate planning and inventory data.
  • Identify material shortages and coordinate work orders to ensure uninterrupted production flow.

Qualifications

Physical Requirements
