Job summary

Nortek Data Center Cooling. is seeking a Production Planner to develop and maintain feasible production schedules balancing demand, capacity, and inventory targets.

You will act as the central integrator between Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery and stable production flow. Responsibilities include translating forecasts into executable plans, optimizing schedules, and maintaining ERP/MRP parameters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3–7 years in production planning, master scheduling, or manufacturing supply chain.
  • Strong Excel skills; pivot tables, formulas, scenario analysis.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/JD Edwards).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain master production schedules (MPS) aligned with demand forecasts and orders.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Align production plans with inventory targets for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
  • Track KPIs like schedule adherence, OTIF, and inventory turns; drive improvements.
  • Maintain accurate master data to support planning integrity.
