Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a manufacturing planner to plan sequences of fabrication, assembly, installation for product components, guided by blueprints and engineering releases to direct production workers.

You will determine tooling needs, prepare shop work orders, and coordinate with schedulers to ensure on-time processing while maintaining progress reports and schedules—supporting efficient, compliant manufacturing in a high-stakes aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in Manufacturing, Production Planning or Engineering
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents
• Experience writing manufacturing work instructions or technical documents

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 1 years experience combined in the following:
• Manufacturing
• Production Planning
• Engineering
• Aviation / aerospace production, maintenance, and/or modification
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents
• Experience writing manufacturing work instructions or technical documents

Desired Skills

• C-130, F-35, F-16, and/or Machine Shop experience preferred
• Engineering degree / experience preferred
• Experience interfacing with customer
• Experience performing cross-functional work
• Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with competing priorities
• Experience with manufacturing bills of materials (MBOM) or configuration management
• Greenbelt certified or familiar with continuous improvement frameworks (A3, 6S, Lean)

Experience with the following software: Solumina, MTO, CAPP, SFM, SAP, Apriso, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $37700.00 - $69900.00

• Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
