Job description

As a Production Planner, the primary responsibility will be to coordinate and plan production for our manufacturing facilities. The position will also be responsible for requisitioning raw materials and keeping adequate on-hand stock for production. This position holds a crucial role in ensuring proper levels of inventory are produced to reduce the amount of aged stock.

EDUCATION:

Required: High school diploma

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.

EXPERIENCE:

Required: 2+ years of experience in a position related to inventory management

Preferred: 4-8 years of experience in a position related to inventory management, supply chain management, or demand forecasting.

POSITION REQUIREMENT(S): Specialized Skills/License/Certification

Required: Advanced understanding and experience in inventory planning. Experience using inventory management software's and ERP systems. Strong communication and problem solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

Preferred: Previous experience with Sage X3. Experience in optimizing inventory levels, reducing carrying costs, and minimizing stockouts or overstock situations.
