Job description

Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About This Role:

The Production Planner is responsible for ensuring the production schedule is both achievable and executed across Crusoe’s manufacturing footprint. In this role, you will convert the reconciled Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) plan into a real, capacity-constrained Master Production Schedule (MPS) and drive it through to floor execution—operating either at the network level (cross-site MPS, time fences, master scheduling) or across a specific site cluster.

Serving as the operational architect of manufacturing cadence, this role sits at the intersection of demand, capacity, and floor execution. The ideal candidate brings a strong grasp of MPS logic, enforces schedule discipline through planning time fences, and provides independent, data-driven capacity insights to protect production timelines across single or multi-site operations. This is a Full-Time position.

What You’ll Be Working On:
  • Master Production Scheduling: Convert the reconciled S&OP plan into a time-phased MPS by SKU, site, and work center.
  • Capacity Planning & Feasibility: Assess and represent true capacity feasibility (lines, shifts, work centers) during S&OP supply and capacity reviews.
  • Time Fence Governance: Set and enforce planning time fences (Frozen / Firm / Free) consistently, maintaining a clear approval process for schedule exceptions.
  • Multi-Site Handoff Tracking: For network-scoped assignments, track inter-site handoff timing for dependent site pairs (e.g., Arvada fabrication output feeding Brighton assembly) to ensure cross-site alignment.
  • Site Target Translation: For cluster-scoped assignments, translate network MPS into site-level targets, overseeing Site Schedulers who release work orders and manage floor sequencing.
  • Schedule Adherence & Root Cause Analysis: Track schedule adherence (planned vs. actual by work order), logging deviations and feeding root-cause analysis back into the S&OP cycle.
  • S&OP Forum Representation: Deliver credible capacity assessments, inter-site constraint views, and schedule adherence metrics in monthly S&OP reconciliations.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
  • Experience: 3–5+ years of dedicated experience in production planning, detailed scheduling, or master scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • System & Technical Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of MPS/MRP logic, finite capacity planning, and ERP scheduling modules (e.g., Acumatica or similar systems).
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Comfort presenting capacity constraints, trade-offs, and adherence metrics in cross-functional forums and leadership reviews.
Bonus Points:
  • APICS / ASCM certification, such as CPIM (Certified in Planning and Inventory Management).
  • Prior experience in multi-site or network-level production planning across dependent manufacturing facilities.
  • Hands-on experience using Acumatica ERP.
  • Background in high-tech manufacturing, modular data center production, or complex assembly environments.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation and equity packages
  • Restricted Stock Units
  • Paid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs
  • Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance
  • Employer contributions to HSA account
  • Paid parental leave
  • Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability
  • Professional development & tuition reimbursement
  • Mental health & wellness support
  • Commuter benefits (parking & transit)
  • Cell phone stipend
  • 401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary
  • Volunteer time off
  • Global travel insurance & emergency assistance
  • Daily meals allowance
  • Additional perks & programs specific to location
Compensation:

Compensation will be paid in the range of $95,000 - $115,000. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
