Job summary

Pilatus in Colorado is seeking a Production Pilot to conduct PC-12 and PC-24 production check flights from Broomfield. You will fly as PIC, support production, engineering, and customer support with flight and technical expertise.

Required are a Bachelor's degree, FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Single/ Multi-Engine Land ratings, CFII and MEI, 4,000 total hours and 2,500 PIC, plus 2,000 turbine/jet hours including 1,000 jet PIC. Jet rating or military equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Single and Multi-Engine Land ratings.
• CFII and MEI certifications required; no centerline thrust restriction preferred.
• Minimum 4,000 hours total flight time and 2,500 hours PIC.
• Minimum 2,000 hours turbine/jet flight time, incl. 1,000 hours jet PIC.
• Jet type rating or military equivalent; military/airline flight exp preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
• Serve as single-pilot PIC for PC-12 and PC-24 production check flights.
• Conduct government and special mission flight tests and demonstrations.
• Perform domestic and international production, demonstration, ferry, and AOG flights.
• Coordinate with engineering on flight test plans and product improvements.
• Pre-flight planning including route selection, fuel, weather, and performance.

The Production Pilot conducts PC-12 and PC-24 production check flights and other assigned flights safely and in accordance with Pilatus standards, company policies, and applicable aviation regulations. The Production Pilot is a subject matter expert on the PC-12 and PC-24 and supports production, engineering, customer support, sales, and other operational requirements through flight and technical expertise

• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally at all times
• Serve as single-pilot Pilot in Command (PIC) for PC-12 and PC-24 production check flights
• Perform government and special mission experimental flight tests and demonstrations
• Conduct domestic and international production, demonstration, marketing, ferry, customer support, AOG response, and transportation flights
• Serve as a subject matter expert on PC-12 and PC-24 aircraft, including capabilities, systems, and operations
• Coordinate with Pilatus engineering on flight test plans, technical issues, and product improvement
• Conduct pre-flight planning, including route selection, fuel requirements, weather analysis, and performance calculations

What you bring

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Single and Multi-Engine Land ratings
• FAA Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) and FAA Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) certification, no centerline thrust restriction preferred
• Minimum 4,000 hours total flight time and[VS1] [GL2] 2,500 hours PIC (or equivalent military flight experience)
• Minimum 2,000 hours combined turbine/jet flight time, including 1,000 hours jet PIC (or equivalent military flight experience)
• Jet type rating or military equivalent
• Military or airline flight experience preferred
