Job summary

Sauer Brands, Inc. in Greenville, SC is seeking a 1st shift Machine Operator to perform daily setup and operation of packaging equipment for condiment markets, following GMP standards.

You will be responsible for safety, quality checks, data entry, and supporting department goals. The role requires a high school diploma and the ability to stand for long shifts; training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Machine operating experience preferred.
• Detail oriented with strong data accuracy.
• Able to stand for a 10-hour shift.
• Dependable and punctual with good attendance.
• Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety and quality guidelines to protect the customer, yourself and fellow employees.
• Daily hands-on setup, startup and operation of assigned packaging equipment using hand tools and data collection tools.
• Enter required Quality and Operational checks into the data collection software in use in a timely manner.
• Learn, meet and sustain KPI’s set for department goals.
• Provide peer support for successful department operation.
• Engage in cross training when available.

Machine Operator

Overall Goal of Position:

Keep the Greenville Facility running smoothly; making adjustments during production runs, utilizing quality tools to ensure that product standards are met and to help make OurRecipe@SauerBrands.

Job Summary

Daily setup and operation of packaging equipment servicing the condiment markets following industry standards for GMP

Key Duties and Responsibilities

What We Are Looking For: Characteristics, skills, experience, education and performance history needed for success in the position:

• High School Diploma required
• Machine Operating Experience preferred
• Must be detail orientated
• Able to walk & stand during most all of a 10 hour shift
• Quality driven, Self-motivated, and willing to learn
• Dependable & punctual
• Physical Capacities: Able to lift 30 lbs.
