American Construction Metals (ACM), a strategic business unit of ABC Supply, is seeking machine operators to join its team in Shawnee, Kansas. The role involves operating manufacturing equipment, feeding metal coil, monitoring quality, completing work orders, and packaging products to specifications.

Qualified candidates may have machine operating experience and should be able to read calipers and tape measures.

Qualifications

• Machine operating experience is preferred and ability to read calipers and tape measures is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Physical demands include standing for an 8-hour shift and ability to move around the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines and manufacturing equipment.
• Cut and feed metal coil into machines; monitor quality.
• Fill out work orders and related paperwork; package products per specs.
• Receive training on various equipment and maintain safety standards.
