Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Packer Handler at our Saint Helens, OR facility to support 12-hour day and night shifts on a rotating schedule. You will maintain a clean, safe work area, inspect product quality, and assemble containers with gaskets and handles, while meeting production targets.

The role offers starting pay of $18 per hour, rising to $19 after 90 days, plus a $1 night differential and benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous production experience a plus but not required.
• Must keep up with the fast-paced production cycles.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Inspect product for quality and flag issues.
• Assemble product by installing gaskets and handles while keeping up with machine cycles.
• Flame containers and lids as required.
• Stack and pack product per customer instructions.
• Prepare labels and paperwork.
• Assist with material handling and other tasks.
• Perform cleanup during downtime on production interruptions.
• Identify alpha/numeric product codes.
• Work 12-hour shifts; stand, bend and lift during shift.
