Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Package production items in Assembly and assemble components into kits.
• Prepare packages for shipment with proper labeling and addresses.
• Stack and arrange packages in crates, boxes, and pallets securely.
• Transport final parts using hand trucks and pallet jacks.
• Print shipping labels using computerized processes.
• Verify measurements with basic math for accurate shipments.

Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00/Hour

What You'll Do

• Package production items in the Assembly department and carefully assemble components into kits.
• Prepare packages for shipment using directed packaging materials, ensuring packages are wrapped and properly labeled with shipment addresses.
• Stack and arrange packages securely in crates, boxes, cartons, and on pallets to ensure safe and organized shipping.
• Transport final assembly parts and packages to designated locations using lifting equipment, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Utilize computerized processes to accurately prepare and print shipping labels.
• Apply basic math skills to verify measurements and ensure correct shipment details.

What We're Looking For

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior experience in shipping is highly preferred and helpful.
• Basic computer knowledge and basic math skills are essential.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and safely operate lifting equipment.
• This role also requires standing and walking throughout the facility for the duration of the shift.
