Job summary

VEKA in Morganton, NC is seeking a motivated associate to support the extrusion production area. You will assist extrusion operators, help with packaging, and ensure products are prepared safely and to VEKA standards.

Qualifications

• GED, High School Education, or previous work experience.
• Able to obtain and hold a VEKA forklift license.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to read tape measures and use basic shop tools.

Responsibilities

• Support production area and assist extrusion operators as needed.
• Inspect packaging to ensure correct labeling and boxing standards.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and organized.
• Assist with material handling and crate setup when required.
• Follow VEKA standards and notify supervisor of issues.
