Job summary

H.E.B. in Houston seeks a Manufacturing Production Partner I to join the operations team. You will help convert raw materials into finished goods and ensure production processes run smoothly, safely, and in compliance with QMS documentation.

You will participate in basic equipment operation, packing, shipping, and daily safety training. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a climate-controlled environment depending on the plant.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Certification in Team Skills required.
• Knowledge of QES standards required.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail required.
• Math, reading and writing skills required.
• PC skills required.
• Bi-lingual language skills a plus.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment required.
• Ability to communicate effectively required.
• Ability to operate machines or equipment at basic level required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain total process ownership to ensure manufacturing processes and equipment are optimal.
• Perform basic product handling to convert raw material into finished goods.
• Complete safety- and environmental-related training.
• Apply basic knowledge of QMS documentation.
• Assist with preparing/loading production materials.
• Check for accuracy of product.
• Maintain manufacturing processes and equipment in optimum condition.
• Operate basic equipment (scales, metal detector, conveyors, printers) where applicable.
• Pack finished goods into shipping units.
• Paletize shipping units with correct tie height.
• Ensure pallets are strapped/stretch-wrapped to minimize damage.
