Job summary

Kemin Industries is hiring full-time Production Operators for its Missouri campus, with sites in Verona and Sarcoxie.

Pay and progression are based on experience and skills, with generous shift premiums and quarterly and uncapped annual bonuses; benefits eligibility starts day one, including paid vacation and holidays. Join a team dedicated to quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in production environments preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 55 lbs.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to work at both Verona and Sarcoxie sites.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process raw materials for production.
• Operate equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and report issues.
• Sample, package, seal, label, palletize and wrap products.
• Enter data into computer systems.
• Operate a forklift.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Procedures and Food Safety standards.
• Maintain housekeeping standards.
• Ensure finished product meets specifications and is safe for pets.
• Other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Related experience in Production is preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work both the Verona and Sarcoxie sites as needed.
• Ability to stand for long periods and to climb stairs.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift 55 lbs.
• Ability to solve basic problems.
• Ability to read, understand and follow standard operating procedures (SOP's).
