Job summary

Kemin is hiring full-time Production Operators for our Missouri campuses in Verona and Sarcoxie. You will assemble and process raw materials, operate equipment, and ensure quality while adhering to safety and food-safety standards.

This role offers competitive pay with shift premiums for nights and weekends, quarterly and annual bonus opportunities, a 401k match, and benefits from day one. Candidates who can work across both sites are encouraged to apply and grow with us.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to work at Verona and Sarcoxie sites as needed.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 55 lbs and follow SOPs.

• Operate equipment in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and report issues.
• Sample, package, seal, label, palletize and wrap products.
• Enter data into computer system and operate a forklift.

• Operate a forklift.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Procedures and maintain Food Safety Standards.
• Maintain housekeeping standards.
• Ensure the quality of finished product meets specifications and is safe for our beloved pets.
• Other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Related experience in Production is preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work both the Verona and Sarcoxie sites as needed.
• Ability to stand for long periods and to climb stairs.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift 55 lbs.
• Ability to solve basic problems.
• Ability to read, understand and follow standard operating procedures (SOP's).
