Job summary

TOPS Staffing is hiring for a Production Operator in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour with potential raise to $25.02 per hour after hire-in by the client, following around 10 weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor automated production and packaging lines.
  • Load bottles, drums, boxes, and packaging materials into production equipment.
  • Perform quality inspections and remove defective products.
  • Monitor storage tank levels and record measurements.
  • Load, unload, and stage materials throughout the facility.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (training available).
  • As you gain experience, learn additional production processes and equipment.

Overview

Production Operator — Starting pay $20.00/hour with potential raise to $25.02/hour after hire-in. TOPS Staffing is hiring for a well-established manufacturing company offering long-term career opportunities. Shift Information

Available shifts: Daylight 7:00 AM – 3:15 PM; Afternoon 3:15 PM – 11:30 PM; Night 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM. Most new employees start on 2nd or 3rd shift and may bid into daylight positions based on seniority. Candidates must be available to work any shift when hired.

What You\'ll Do (Responsibilities)
  • Operate and monitor automated production and packaging lines
  • Load bottles, drums, boxes, and packaging materials into production equipment
  • Perform quality inspections and remove defective products
  • Connect and disconnect transfer hoses used throughout production
  • Assist with blending operations by adding production materials
  • Collect product samples for quality testing
  • Monitor storage tank levels and record measurements
  • Load, unload, and stage materials throughout the facility
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (training available)
  • As you gain experience, opportunities to learn additional production processes and equipment throughout the facility
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred
  • Forklift experience is a plus, but training is available
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical: Stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 45 pounds; comfortable climbing stairs and working on elevated platforms with safety rails
