Job summary

FrieslandCampina is seeking a hands-on manufacturing operator in New York. The role involves loading and setting up production machinery, operating equipment, and ensuring quality through batch records and SOPs.

You will handle lab equipment, move materials with a forklift, and maintain a clean, safe production area in a GMP environment. You’ll work nights and weekends in a union environment with paid training, overtime potential, and full-time hours.

Qualifications

You’ll work with steam systems, hot water, and food-grade materials in a structured, safety-focused environment.

Allergen Exposure - Our manufacturing facility exposes employees to various allergens and chemicals integral to our ingredient production process. Potential sensitivities include casein, wheat, soy, papain, whey, rice, pea, cotton, gelatin, and malt, as well as various chemical aromas and fumes.

Knowledge and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience

Physical Requirements

• Lift 30 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Repetitive motion, grasping, reaching, and standing
• Comfortable working around food ingredients and production materials

Starting Pay: $32.03/hour

$1.00/hour shift differential (where applicable)
