Job summary

Tri-Valley Career Center is seeking a production assembler in Fremont for a temp-to-hire role. The position involves assembling components, following procedures, and coordinating with other parts of the warehouse and production areas.

Candidates should be detail-oriented, able to work in a team, and capable of reading manufacturing documentation. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods is required.

Responsibilities

• Unpack, prepare components, install components, and assemble units following procedures.
• Move materials between production and warehouse; unpack and package materials.
• Assemble products on simple components; may integrate computer parts into a chassis on an assembly line.
• Use small hand tools or power screwdrivers to install brackets, components, and labels.
• Install rails to elevation on rack specifications; identify and scan labels for rack specs.
• Label cables for rack specs using a labeling machine; cable racks and server components.
• Perform any additional assigned tasks.

This role is a temp to hire for one of our customers in Fremont

Job Responsibilities

• Follows procedures, instructions, and sequence of operations in unpacking, preparing components, installing components, and assembling units.
• Moves materials between production, warehouse, and other areas. Unpack and package production materials.
• Performs product assembly operations on simple components, assemblies, or sub-assemblies. This may involve integration of computer parts into a chassis on an assembly line.
• Utilize small hand tools or power screwdrivers to install brackets, small components, and labels on products.
• Installation of rails to elevation on rack specifications. Identify and scan labels for rack specification.
• Identify and label cables for rack specification using cable labeling machine. Cable racks and server components.
• Any additional assigned tasks.
