Job summary

Employnet, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented assembler for server rack components in a manufacturing setting. You will assemble units, label cables, install rails, and conduct quality inspections on a production line.

The role requires the ability to read assembly instructions, work with hand tools, and lift up to 50 lbs. This is a full-time, on-site position in San Jose, with pay between $22.00 and $25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented manufacturing worker with ability to follow procedures and work in a team.
• Clear verbal and written communication in fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with manufacturing documentation and labels.
• Comfort with basic quality inspections and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Follows procedures, instructions, and sequence of operations in unpacking, preparing components, installing components, and assembling units.
• Moves materials between production, warehouse, and other areas.
• Unpack and package production materials.
• Performs product assembly operations on complex components, assemblies, or sub-assemblies.
• This may involve integration of computer parts into a chassis on an assembly line.
• Utilize small hand tools or power screwdrivers to install brackets, small components, and labels on products.
• Installation of rails to elevation on rack specifications.
• Identify and scan labels for rack specification.
• Identify and label cables for rack specification using cable labeling machine.
• Cable racks and server components.
• Conduct various product and quality process inspections.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and inputting data into a quality database.
• Conduct daily audits of assigned areas, verify tools for proper torque and calibrations.
• Any additional assigned tasks.
