WireCo is seeking a Production Operator for our Sedalia manufacturing facility. You will set up, load and operate production machines in Spooling, Stranding or Closing, ensuring the product meets specifications.

You will work Friday through Sunday, 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., with potential day-shift training and a monthly incentive program after probation. The position offers hourly pay plus a shift differential and a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Solid math and mechanical aptitude required.
• Must be able to learn to use micrometers, tape measures, feeler gauges and basic hand tools.

Responsabilités

• Record set-up information at the start of each order.
• Remove empty bobbins and load full bundles of wire or bobbins using lifting devices.
• Weld or knot new wire to trailing end of previous order when applicable.
• Thread machine and ensure proper dies, heads and rollers.
• Set lay, adjust tension and die pressure as required.
• Start lube pump as needed and inspect/replace tensioning devices.
• Tag product, stage in storage, and record all production.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Perform duties per work instructions and quality standards.
• Monthly incentives after probation and other duties as assigned by management.
