Job summary

Commercial Metals Company (CMC) is hiring for an entry-level role in our manufacturing and fabrication operations in Virginia. You will train on equipment, load/unload materials, and operate production machines in a fast-paced environment.

We value safety, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. Overtime may be required; health benefits begin Day 1, with 401(k) and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Ability to operate fabrication machines safely.
• Comfort with manual labor and physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Attend training regarding equipment.
• Assist in loading fabricated rebar and unloading stock.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and equipment.
• Operate production machines per procedures and guidelines.
• Support safety programs and uphold safety culture.
• Operate equipment such as shears, cranes, forklifts, etc.
