Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a General Labor Trainee in Dixon, IL to support food production operations. Starting pay is $21.85 per hour with shift premiums for 2nd and 3rd shifts, and 10-hour shifts across a union bid process.

Qualifications

• Production experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Attention to detail and strong attendance history.
• Ability to comply with GMP and maintain cleanliness.
• Must obtain/maintain forklift license and operate forklift safely.

Responsibilities

• Work in a food production environment with proper PPE.
• Follow union bid process to be assigned first, second or third shift.
• Support plant cleanliness and equipment maintenance per GMPs.
• Be available for overtime, holidays and weekend work as needed.
• Communicate concerns to supervisor in a timely, professional manner.
