Job summary

Findlay Food Coatings Ltd in Caldwell, Idaho, is hiring two Production Operators to work Monday–Friday, swing shift 2:00pm–10:30pm. You will lift up to 55 lb, add ingredients, use scanners for inventory, climb stairs, and operate a lift truck with training provided.

Overtime may be offered. You will help ensure products meet final specifications, follow Good Manufacturing Practice, maintain a safe work environment, and communicate effectively with senior managers.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Ability to follow safety and GMP standards.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to shift-based work.

Responsibilities

• Lift up to 55 lb bags/containers.
• Accurately add ingredients to blending process.
• Use scanners for ingredient receipt and inventory control.
• Climb stairs and perform duties across the shift.
• Drive lift truck and possibly scissor lift with training.

Originally a local bread bakery, we grew into the largest plant bread producer on the East Coast of New Zealand. In the 1990's we further developed into manufacturing Panko bread crumbs, Conventional Breadcrumbs and Batter coating systems.

Findlay Food Coatings Ltd was established in 2013 to operate in the USA. Three Powder Blending sites were built in Idaho to provide Batter Coating solutions primarily to produce specialist coatings for french fries.

Findlay is a Family owned international company with a reputation for innovation, thinking outside of the box and delivering what it says it will. Our head office is located at the edge of the world in Gisborne, New Zealand.

We are currently recruiting for two positions available as Production Operators; They work Monday - Friday, Swing Shift 2:00pm - 10:30pm. Overtime may be offered depending on need. You will be required to, but not limited to, do the following activities:

1. 1. Lift up to 55 lb. bags, boxes or containers of ingredients to be used in the blending process.
2. 2. Accurately add ingredients to the process.
3. 3. Use scanners for delivery of ingredients and inventory control.
4. 4. Climb up and down stairs.
5. 5. Kneel, stand, walk and lift to complete your duties throughout the shift.
6. 5. Clean a facility where we are using fine powders.
7. 6. Drive lift truck and possibly scissor lift (we will provide training and certification).
8. 7. Ensure products adhere to the Final Specifications.
9. 8. Provide Maintenance with concise information to assist in breakdowns.
10. 9. Have effective Communication with Senior Managers.
11. 10.Ensure Safe practices are observed by yourself and to lead others if bad practice is observed.
12. 11.Ensure Good Manufacturing Practice is followed and to lead others if bad practice is observed.

The pay range for this role is:
22.78 - 22.78 USD per hour(Caldwell)
