Job summary

Murphy's Naturals in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Production Operator to assist in the production process and uphold safety and quality standards. This hourly, non-exempt, full-time role focuses on batch manufacturing, equipment operation, and accurate documentation.

You will lead and train other associates, perform line changeovers, and maintain a clean, organized work area while following 5S principles and proper sanitation procedures. Team collaboration and a proactive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in warehouse/manufacturing.
• Mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead, instruct, and train production associates in safety, quality, batching, operation, and maintenance in the Production area.
• Safely batch raw materials into finished bulk following Batch Manufacturing Procedures.
• Safely operate and maintain packaging equipment.
• Conduct quality checks and complete paperwork to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Maintain good manufacturing processes and adhere to safety regulations.
• Perform line changeovers and set up equipment.
• Follow cleaning and sanitizing guidelines for equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve product and equipment issues.
• Alert supervisor immediately if safety or quality concerns arise.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized area.
• Learn and aid in 5S implementation in the workplace.
• Perform other duties as assigned
