Responsibilities

• Lead, instruct, and train other production associates in safety, quality, batching, operation, and maintenance in the Production area.
• Safely batch raw materials into finished bulk following Batch Manufacturing Procedures.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of the packaging equipment.
• Conduct quality checks and complete paperwork to meet quality standards.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area and follow safety regulations.
• Perform line changeovers and set up equipment.
• Follow cleaning and sanitizing guidelines for equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve product and equipment issues.
• Alert supervisor or manager immediately if safety or quality concerns arise.
• Learn and aid in implementing organization and 5s in the workplace.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Description

This is an hourly, non-exempt, full time role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, instruct, and train other production associates in the areas of safety, quality, batching, operation, and maintenance in the Production area.
• Safely and with a high attention to quality, batch raw materials into finished bulk following specific Batch Manufacturing Procedures.
• Safely ensure proper operation and maintenance of the packaging equipment.
• Conduct assigned quality checks and accurately complete all associated paperwork to ensure all products meet set quality standards.
• Maintain good manufacturing processes and adhere to all safety regulations.
• Perform line changeovers and set up equipment.
• Follow guidelines for proper cleaning and sanitizing of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve product and equipment issues
• Alert the Production Supervisor or Operations Manager immediately if there are any safety or quality concerns
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized area
• Learn and aid in implementing organization and 5s in the workplace.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience working within a warehouse/manufacturing environment
• Mechanical aptitude
