Job summary

Carlisle Construction Materials LLC in Carlisle, PA invites applications for Production Operators to run various production equipment in a rubber manufacturing setting. You will be part of a team focused on safety, quality and efficiency, with rotating 1st/2nd shifts and a 3rd shift option.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience and are willing to perform several jobs across different plant areas; a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Willingness to perform several jobs across different areas of the plant.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery to maximize output of quality product.
• Retrieve and move raw material into place as required.
• Perform a variety of tasks to maintain the proper flow of materials throughout the plant.
• Provide coverage for a variety of manufacturing processes/equipment.
• Provide brief relief when applicable for breaks and lunch.
• Follow production schedules, oral and published job instructions, specifications and prescribed procedures.
• Detect, rectify as able, and report faulty operations, defective materials, or unusual conditions.
• Observe prescribed safety regulations.
• Keep count, tallies and records as required.
• Perform various other related or associated duties as required or directed.
• Participate in continuous improvement processes.
• Other production duties as assigned.
