Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Rout Department operator to run equipment and produce quality PCB products in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle multiple machines, load programs, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with other departments to optimize processes. The role requires attention to safety and adherence to PM schedules, with potential for advancement and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • CMM experience preferred.
  • Basic to Advanced math skills preferred.
  • Computer experience preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (primarily Excel).
  • Knowledge in using calipers and micrometers.
  • Ability to work required shifts & overtime.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and sit, stand, or bend for up to 10 hours a day.
  • Requires the ability to work safely with chemical, physical (radiation, noise, etc) or biological agents which may pose health or safety hazards if improperly handled.
  • Ability to communicate in English language clearly both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, assist other departments when workloads demand it, and effectively work with all levels of the organization.
  • Good interpersonal skills; ability to show leadership.
  • The following characteristics are needed: approachable, detail oriented, organized, trustworthy, willing to learn, punctual, self disciplined, takes direction well, dependable, flexible, team player, professional, self motivated, manual dexterity, takes pride in work.

  • Monitors and produces quality product.
  • Operates multiple machines as allowed by product mixture. Work with blueprints.
  • Loads programs into machines.
  • Troubleshoots any problems that may occur during process and consults with supervisor.
  • Works to solve problems and multitask on various jobs.
  • Maintains equipment using a PM schedule.
  • Works with other departments on job improvements.
  • Cross train to help in all areas of the department.
  • Works effectively and responsibly with others.
  • All other assigned duties as required within the organization.
  • Accomplish all job related paperwork in the most accurate, timely and ethical manner.
  • Communicates regularly to supervisors/managers, suggests procedural changes, maintains a clean, safe work environment and communicates to supervisors/managers safety hazards and issues.
  • Properly handle and dispose all waste, including hazardous wastes that are generated in daily operations as directed by the EHS department.
  • Responsible to report all accidents, near misses, unsafe acts and unsafe conditions. Perform job duties utilizing the required and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Full participation in safety training and the ability to understand and follow directions identified in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) , PPE Assessments, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and all Safety Procedures and Alerts.

Job Summary:

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
