Job summary

Edgewell Personal Care in Knoxville, TN seeks a skilled machine operator to set up, adjust and operate pre-grind blade making machinery, ensuring product quality and efficient production. The role requires at least six months manufacturing experience, mechanical aptitude and basic math; you will perform preventive maintenance, quality checks and support on-site operations with a collaborative team.

Please note that this full-time position is project based, and employment is expected to end no later than December 2027, in connection with the plant’s scheduled relocation.

Purpose of Position

Set up, adjust and operate all pre-grind blade making machinery and peripheral equipment to obtain product of acceptable quality.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities And Procedures

• Set up, adjust and operate machinery and equipment to obtain product of acceptable quality.
• As required, perform preventive maintenance.
• Perform and record Quality checks.
• As required, relieve operators.

Perform Other Duties As Required.

Required Skills and Experience

• Must have at least six (6) months of manufacturing experience

• Must be able to calculate basic math.
• Hands-on experience in general mechanics.

Preferred Skills And Experience

Previous experience in Stamping, Perforating or Heat-Treating a plus.
