Manufacturing Sample & Display Operator

Location:Onsite – Portland, Oregon (NE)

Competitive Compensation:Starting at $21.00 - $23.00 per hour,depending on experience and qualifications.

Shift:Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM (hoursmay vary). Occasional overtime before the shift starts.

Crafting Excellence:Your Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules.
  
• Use a tile wet saw or utility knife tocut samples
  
• Laying out, labeling and adhering samplesto sample cards.
  
• Accurately pull materials for showroomsamples orders.
  
• Ability to recognize materials by partnumber and description.
  
• Ability to recognize and follow patternsfor sample production.
  
• Accurately fill out production documents.
  
• Contribute to a positive and supportivework environment.
  
• Performs other duties within thewarehouse as assigned by supervisor to contribute to a smooth operation,meeting production goals.

Key Qualifications

• Must be able to work in the US without restrictions or sponsorship.
  
• Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes.
  
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Tile Installation experience.
• Tile saw or hand tool experience, preferred.
• Hand dexterity to manipulate small parts with accuracy.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions to complete tasks accurately.
• Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment.

Additional Requirements

• PhysicalCapability:Ability to perform the essential duties of theposition, including bending, lifting, and pushing weights of up to 35 - 50pounds. (Lift requirements: Ability to lift 50lbs 2-4 times per hour.)
  
• Screening:Successfulcompletion of a drug screen and background check.
  
• Reliability:Consistentattendance and work performance.
  
• SafetyCompliance:Follow all safety policies andprocedures.

The hourly range for this position is $21.00-23.00. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
