Job summary

Charter Manufacturing is seeking a Machine Operator to support welding, packaging, line setup, quality inspection and material movement at our Milwaukee plant. This night shift runs 6 PM to 6 AM on a 3-2-2-3 schedule, with overtime opportunities and a starting pay of $21.00 per hour plus a $2.25 shift premium.

You’ll join a fourth-generation family-owned company where safety, teamwork and continuous improvement define daily work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is not required to start; we will pay for you to get your GED through an accredited program.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment focused on safety first

Responsibilities

• Safety first: prioritise safe completion of each shift.

• Contribute to continuous improvement to enhance precision-engineered profiles.

About Our Position

• MACHINE OPERATOR: This role includes welding, packaging, line setup, quality inspection and material movement with forklifts and overhead cranes. Previous experience as a machine operator is a plus. Check out our job description video: Production Operator at Charter Wire - Menomonee Valley
• STARTING PAY: $21.00+ depending on experience PLUS 2.25 shift premium (with the opportunity to earn several increases within your first two years)
• SHIFT: Night Shift (6PM-6AM)
• SCHEDULE: 3-2-2-3 (3 days working - 2 days off - 2 days working - 3 days off, giving you a 3-day weekend off every other weekend, built-in overtime pay)
