B shift responsibilities include:

• Performing operations to maintain product quality and production levels.
• Working as a team to maximize effectiveness.
• Responsibilities encompass product inspection, equipment operation, raw material/finished goods movement, and cleaning/sanitizing.
• Monitoring machine functions and detecting out-of-control conditions.
• Ensuring compliance with embecta quality systems, policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Essential Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Maintaining equipment according to preventive maintenance schedules.
• Cleaning machines and work areas.
• Producing, inspecting, and packaging products.
• Operating equipment and processing functions.
• Conducting inspections and process tests.
• Completing all required paperwork promptly.
• Responding to and resetting alarms as needed.
• Communicating effectively with team members to sustain a productive environment.
• Contributing to process improvements.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintaining certification on assigned equipment.
• Maintaining regular, punctual attendance.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Shift Leader to support business needs.
• Remaining alert and focused in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Obeying all company policies, including safety policies and lockout procedures.
• Applying embecta standards and specifications to ensure product quality.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience or experience with BD or embecta.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good interpersonal skills.
