Job summary

Canadian Bank Note Company, Limited seeks a Production Operator for its Danville, Virginia facility. This permanent, full-time on-site role runs a 3x12 hour shift with a night premium, and offers stability, benefits, and career growth in a clean-room manufacturing environment.

You will operate laser engraving, printing, and mailing equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and inspect printed products for defects while following instructions and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Legally eligible to work in the USA.
• Fluent in English (speak, read, write).
• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer literacy (comfortable using a computer).
• Able to stand for prolonged periods, walk/bend/reach and lift up to 45 lbs.
• Able to follow instructions.
• Preferred: experience in manufacturing or warehousing; HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Operate laser engraving, printing, and mailing equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and correct as directed.
• Examine printed product for flaws or defects.
• Other duties as required.

Shift: 3 x 12 hours (7am-7 pm;7pm-7 am); 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off; ***NOTE*** - it is highly likely that this position will be a night shift position

Wage:

$16.47/hr + night shift premium of $1.50/hr
