Job summary

Canadian Bank Note Company’s CBN Secure Technologies Inc. in Danville, VA seeks a Production Operator for a permanent, full-time on-site role. The position features 3x12 hour shifts (day and night) with a probable night shift, and a starting wage of $16.47 per hour plus a $1.50 night premium.

You will operate laser engraving, printing, and mailing equipment, inspect output for defects, and assist with routine maintenance. Legal eligibility to work in the USA is required.

Qualifications

• Legally eligible to work in the USA.
• Fluent in English (speak, read, write).
• Basic math skills required.
• Basic computer literacy (comfortable using a computer).
• Able to stand for prolonged periods, walk/bend/reach and lift and carry up to 45 lbs.
• Able to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate laser engraving, printing, and mailing equipment
• Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and correct as directed
• Examine printed product for flaws or defects
• Various other duties and responsibilities
