Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East seeks reliable manufacturing workers for a 12-hour shift role. You will follow standardized processes, inspect products for quality, and keep a clean, safe workspace per 5S guidelines.

Training provided for candidates with 1–2 years in manufacturing. Ideal candidates read and follow policies, operate hand and power tools safely, and possess basic computer skills to update reports and work orders.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred; training provided.
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to read policies & procedure manuals.
  • Ability to safely operate/use hand and power tools.
  • Multi-task & be flexible with assignments.
  • Must have general computer skill abilities to complete and/or update reports, work orders, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products a plus (Excel).
  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively carry out assigned tasks throughout the shift.
  • Visually inspect products to ensure quality and customer specifications throughout the shift.
  • Notify Lead if any equipment or material issues are noticed on the production line.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following 5S principles.
  • Assist with plant housekeeping during downtime.

Essential Duties:
  • Follow standardized work processes and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment

  • Notify Lead if individual notices any issues with equipment or material on the production line.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace throughout the shift adhering to 5S practices
  • During plant downtime this position assists with plant housekeeping.
