Purpose

Operates all production equipment safely and efficiently to produce quality material that meets customer requirements.

Areas of Responsibility / Tasks

  1. General Policy
  2. Knowledge in Plastic Manufacturing
  3. Operate all production equipment safely and efficiently to produce quality materials that meet the customer requirements.
  4. Compliance with Standard Operating Conditions (SOC) and Work Package Instructions.
  5. Communicate and review status of work in process at beginning and end of shift.
  6. Perform startups and shutdowns of equipment as needed.
  7. Reports decisions, problems, and questions in a timely manner to management.
  8. Must be able to safely operate a fork truck.
  9. Keep a clean and safe work area.
  10. Assist in the completion of special projects.
  11. Follow all Quality, Safety and Environmental Procedures.
  12. Uphold the Ravago Code of Conduct standards.
  13. Other duties as assigned by the Compounding Production Manager or Plant Manager.

Minimum Qualifications/ Education / Experience / Certifications

  1. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  2. Experience: Experience a plus but not required, must be willing to learn and follow procedures.
  3. Basic math skills required and detail oriented.
  4. Ability to read, speak, and write English efficiently, preferred.
  5. Must be able to communicate with others and management.

Competencies; Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA)

  1. Must be comfortable working in a shared space, with constant noise.
  2. Must be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  3. Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice.
  4. All injuries regardless of severity must be reported to your Supervisor/HR immediately.

Work Environment / Conditions

Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice.
