Purpose

Operates all production equipment safely and efficiently to produce quality material that meets customer requirements.

Areas of Responsibility / Tasks

• Operate all production equipment safely and efficiently to produce quality materials that meet customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Conditions (SOC) and Work Package Instructions.
• Communicate and review the status of work in process at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Perform startups and shutdowns of equipment as needed.
• Report decisions, problems, and questions in a timely manner to management.
• Safely operate a forklift.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Assist in the completion of special projects.
• Follow all Quality, Safety, and Environmental Procedures.
• Uphold the Ravago Code of Conduct standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Production or Plant Manager.

Minimum Qualifications/Education/Experience/Certifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn and follow procedures is essential.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read, speak, and write English effectively; communication with management is required.

Competencies: Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA)

• Comfort working in shared spaces with constant noise.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Flexibility to work in excess of 40 hours per week based on business needs, with or without notice.
• Report all injuries immediately to supervisor/HR.

Work Environment / Conditions

Work in shared spaces with constant noise, possibly without climate control. Schedules may vary and exceed 40 hours weekly based on business demands.

Physical Requirements / Demands

• Regularly stand, walk, squat, bend, climb, carry, and reach.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
